At 29 years old bought my first home. Wife is stubborn and wanted the first house we looked at, not any of the homes with a garage.. So I took over the back patio. Anyone need patio furniture?

My wife and I just bought a house. We wanted something interesting and with a view. We both liked this house a lot, but no shop. I made a deal with her that I get the three car garage and the space above it. The space is almost 900sf finished with windows all around and southwest city views. We're going to build a carport in front of the garage doors to park under. I have all my VW toys, VW magazines, bikes and shit up there, but don't have it set up yet. I love the living room (not my furniture) and the way the house sits. We cut the tree down that was blocking the view just two days after signing. Why would you let a three story tree grow right in the middle of your view?
We've been there since July and I love the place, but I really wanted a shop.

Sweet, that is a lot of driveway too! |
I can't wait for our first 6+ inches of overnight snow. That asphalted area is fully fenced with only that exit you see. There's some backing up and maneuvering to get out that will require me to clear the whole thing. |

Doesn’t look like much jammed with debris, but it’s also a treasure trove of antiques and automobile related items. Built in 1957 it’s actually three different rooms, could take about six cars with room to work. This belonged to my late father-in-law and as tribute to him I’ll be keeping some of his stuff visible. He was a car guy back before it became mainstream after WW2 . 1903 curved dash Olds, 1910 Oakland, 1908 Sears, plus many many model T Fords.

Yes, I bottom out in the front. I installed a skid plate to protect the beam from objects... The rear would bottom out too, but the wideness of the tires don't allow it. They rub the inner fender when it airs out. Thanks for the kind words. _________________ My 70 beetle was totaled Now to build the Ghia I always wanted. Rest in peace Ruby, I will miss you.
