So the title says it all. I’ Trying to install a new fuel pump riser I got from Jbugs and it will not go down in the case all the way. I put oil on it after the first attempt because I know sometimes if it’s dry you can’t get it to go in all the way. Any advice would be appreciated.

Look down in the hole where the flange goes. Is half of the old flange still inside?

EDIT: Not in any way shape or form trying to insult intelligence. I asked because it happened to me.

If it's out completely, then yes lightly sanding the outside of the flange will do the job.

might not be an issue for you but i’ve had fuel pressure problems with using an aftermarket flange. thought it was my fuel pumps but after switching back to the og flange my pressure was right in spec! i also had to sand mine a little bit to get it to drop right in there without forcing it in.

Thanks for the replies. I know the old one is not stuck inside as the case was split. I will sand it and see how it goes.
Thanks again

If "title says it all" were true, people wouldn't need to say it. Wink
