I've searched the forums for a while now and I can't find any talk about this type of mirror I have pictured below. I saw it on a car during a show last year. Basically, it is the oval style mirror, however, instead of the curved arm like most oval mirrors have, they have the 101 style arms that have a downward bend in them.
Was it another type of mirror VW offered or was it just one that some of the dealers rigged together? (I noticed that the one pictured is screwed together). Also, can these mirrors be bought new nowadays or am I just gonna have to use an old 101 arm and oval mirror and make my own. Because I can't lie, I just like the look of it.
Thanks for any responses,
-Jon |

Thanks, I don't know how I missed that.
Has anyone ever tried to "homemake" one from an oval mirror head and a 101 arm before? |
