I have used Westcoast Metric for over 20 years, the Quaility is hard to match... I’ve used other products as well and I’ve had to replace these products with WCM.

I'd read recently that Vewib (a brand name) had acquired all of the original VW machines to make superb, OE window and door seals. Search for them on the googles.

Should condition with spray with silicone spray while I have them out?
