i have ordered seals from these people for my 411 and they are slightly smaller than the originals so take sure that you spray right into the channel of the window so that the seals cover it, and also make sure you put in sealant on front windscreen cause mine leaks very badly when installed!

That is disappointing to hear, but I appreciate the tips. Thank you so much for the input!

So I received the new seals from the Netherlands, and although I haven't installed them yet (waiting for new paint first) they seems to be near perfect matches. I used a piece of spectrum fishing line which has no stretch, to measure the channel where the shiny bits go, and then used that length to measure the new rubbers, and they all seem to be right on the money. I'll know more later this year after paint, but for now I am very pleased with my investment of less than $200 for all six seals shipped.
It would be great to hear from anyone else who has experience with Keversplecialists. |

Asked for a windshield seal and got a reply today, in just few days:
"The price for this front window seal is 49,00 Euro. The freightcost to Finland is 22,00 Euro
> Bud we have Hollyday and we are back 6 July"
So no experience yet but I'll order one in July and I have a spare windshield.
Slightly related: Kuttilan Autolasi here in Finland can make new windshield for you at a (relatively) low cost of about 200 euros.
Unfortunately shipping those isn't cheap, 20e for packing and actual shipping cost on top of that. (Includes VAT 25%, people outside EU don't pay it, making the glass much cheaper.) _________________ Kharon -- '62 typ1, '63 typ14, '61 typ21, '65 typ34, '74 412, '75 typ26

I missed where you ordered these seals from. Please give me information on how to contact, and order from them. Thanks Bob |

Hello titan3c
The reply I got was from [email protected].
From Netherlands as pbnjimages says.
I don't know about ordering details as I didn't understand many words from their website but I think they accept email-orders too. _________________ Kharon -- '62 typ1, '63 typ14, '61 typ21, '65 typ34, '74 412, '75 typ26

Did you install them yet (October 9, 2015)? I'd like to hear how they fit and if they leak.
What has your experience been? |

I would say your best bet is Keverspecialist. On the other hand if its just the front or rear windshield and not the quarter windows of your two door sedan...you "can" use a bus front windshield gasket. You will have to cut it wand wrap it and glue it together with 3M weatherstrip adhesive.
Its outer profile is slightly higher but it looks decent. Mine is a bus front gasket. it takes just a little work to form around the glass in the corners and it seals well.
As I get more funds I will be ordering a full set from keverspecialist. Ray |

Is that site still supplying? Went to their website but it appears they only have the standard stuff anymore. I'm also in need of door seals. _________________ '71 Ghia
