Havenít done much work on the bug since the transmission swap and motor refresh, runs and drives pretty well. The 3.88 is nice to cruise around, quieter than the old box and driving is a lot less work but I think Iíll refresh the old tranny, swap the spool for a super diff and bag it up in case I decide I want to do some drag racing in the future.
I missed Volkstock, which was a bummer, maybe next year it wonít conflict with the Baja 1000.
I did manage to swap the tires out for 205/70ís and Iím much happier with the look, those old tires were too short. Hereís a couple of pics

I can see why. The graphics do ask for some big and littles. They fill the wells nicely.
