This LiMBO sponsored event is in a wooded county park near The Bus Depot in eastern PA (about midpoint between Philly, Allentown, and Reading). The park has playgrounds, walking/hiking trails, and lakes, and we have a potluck dinner Saturday evening. The park is having a free haunted hayride Saturday night, which should be fun for the kids.
You can come for the day or camp out. Camping is only $10 per vehicle per night. Some people stay just Saturday night, but we've had a growing contingent that comes Friday night and spends the weekend. If you're close enough to make it a day trip, you can do that at no cost and with no reservation.
This year the campground is open ONLY for our group due to the hayride, so you will NOT be able to come and buy a site from the park ranger. You will have to reserve a site in the upper loop using the link below if you plan to camp. You may also come for the day at no cost, but the park ranger has asked that we avoid coming and going between 6:30 and 10 pm Saturday while the hayride is taking place, so plan on leaving either before or after the hayride.
As in years past, there will also be a caravan through the park to the annual Bus Depot Warehouse Sale and Open House, which is 2-4 pm that Saturday. Once a year we open our warehouse to the general public, and also mark down all of our inventory in-store only (by as much as 90% on scratch-and-dent items).
