|
|
Hey all,
I'm looking into options for the replacement of my leaking high pressure hose from the power steering pump to the steel line.
There is a constant small stain under the van where the pump is located to remind me to top it off every week or so.
This part seems to be no longer available from the big vendors and I"m reluctant to purchase a 30 year old part.
I do see complete feed and return rubber line available.. so my question is:
Do these kits replace everything from the pump to the rack?
And if so do they have any baffles present to address the noise issues that arise without them?
Thanks! _________________ 87 Syncro Tintop

Ahh, he does indeed.. thanks syncrodoka.
For that price I'm guessing this is an OEM product. _________________ 87 Syncro Tintop

You could take your old hose to a hydraulic hose fabricator and reuse the old ends with new hose, likely for less than a brand new hose. I had A/C hoses made up at the same outfit which have worked great. _________________ '85 Westy Wolfsburg camper/2002 2.5 Subaru since 2003.
