The original paint does buff good but we have to do it All by hand so it doesn't have the round machine swirl marks ruining it!

Yeah, I though about using a machine to get the white off and then going around by hand. I still haven't decided if I'm repainting either.

That is white paint on top of the original paint! Type 3 guys have been sanding original paint out with 2000 grit & then polishing it.

Yeah the white is over the original black. The hood looks like it was blended at the bottom though, a little bondo. Other than that, all original underneath.

Blend more black onto it yourself where needed. Best to buy some quality paint from your local Auto Paint Dealer for the spotting.

That’s probably what I’ll do. Looks like when they did the repaint they did little to no sanding.

New stuff! Started working on the interior panels as the body work is on the back burner and got a pretty awesome dealer badge from the original dealer. Let me know what you guys think!
