Is that the varnished brown paper bag trick? Kinda wild looking, almost like distressed leather.

Custom? Like rising blinds, hidden sounds, 3/4 bed in the centre, fold out kitchen?...

I bought this lovely 68 for it's dings and scrapes, you can't replicate real crash damage....

ok, that whole interior is awesome. I gotta ask, what's up with the curtains? Ive never seen that style before. Do they pull up from the bottom and then hook above?

Exactly that, sprung roller blinds upside down and hidden away...all apart from the sliding door one which was just impossible. All hand made by myself apart from the leather which I aged afterwards. At the time I didn't want to see the kitchen, curtains or the speakers. There are 4 small mids behind vents and a 10" sub in what was the walkthrough.

I went a bit nuts doing this...a triumph of style over practicality ... I sold it and started again with a RHD poptop late bay. I might post some pics but it's very much more normal and practical than this one.

Hey Litefoot,
Thank you for posting this I’m redoing my interior and this is Exactly what I needed to see. You did a great job and it looks very impressive. I’m looking on covering all the interior metal (except the floor) with some Faux Fur and was wondering how it would look. You’ve made me sure about my decision. Specifically on the upper half where the windows are. I’ll post some pictures when I get it done. I’m going for greyish blue with yellow wood (poplar but I’m acctually using pine) accents. Also installing a completely custom wood dash that the glovebox and stock gauges just pop right into. Should be very interesting. Your an inspiration dude. I appreciate what you’ve done.

Hey Zed999
Those dash panels look amazing, do you have any tips on how you pulled that off? I’m redoing my dash (as previously stated) but haven’t thought of anything to do with the actual panels yet. Any advice would be appreciated from me up here in Ontario.
Cheers,
Nelson

The dash is burr walnut laminate (used to be called formica here in the UK). A friend is addicted to it, used it on his entire interior and gave me some off-cuts for this. I begged actually after seeing his dash done the same way Smile
You need a fair amount of patience to make inserts like this, the material is brittle and narrow between the gauges. Looking back I don't know why I did it, I like to keep the exterior and cab stock. Therapy!

Okay, laminate. That’s pretty sweet. You should get him to post some photos of his dash here. Also I threw my dashboard in the garbage when I was younger so I will never have a stack dash again unfortunately. Don’t ask why I’m pretty sure some illicit substances were involved. And yea I should probably try going to some of that... thanks...

Probably my favorite. Dont want a kitchen inside my busses, and not real excited about the wood stove-- propane or even small diesel heaters are readily available--but that wood interior is fabulous.

Why leave the hightop area in the back unused though? Seems like the right place for storage.

^^^ Not sure which high roof design this one has, but it may be a step down area out back for a roof rack section there. External storage, rather than internal.
