|
|
Hi, I have an 1776ccm AS Engine and bought me a Bugpack Dual Quiet Muffler, but it will not fit.
The Header fit, but the Muffler is like 2-3cm to high.
I will not cut my Fenders or the Rear Apron.
Any great Tips? Must I cut the Muffler? _________________ TY and have a nice Day. |

The header flange sits below the apron? If so, the muffler should fit
Bent flange? |

Not really below, its too high and the muffler will not fit without bending and cutting the apron.

Need to research whether the dual quiet pack was for a standard or merged header...a merged header flange sits lower than a standard header
Just my guess or the muffler was fabricated poorly. I’ve never had an issue with single or dual quiet packs |

Mine fit on my oval rather awkardly. Didin't touch but tilted kinda strangely. I agree with both transmission mounting and crappy welding of the exhaust itself. _________________ 1971 Tin Top Westy Campmobile 70 |
