I desperately need cup holder(s) for the buggy. Eventually I will build a center console, but till then, can't live without my coffee on the road.
What have y'all done for this? |

Well, an hour of driving around town, different stops for different lengths of time and the car ran, well, like it has a new motor in it. Which is good, cause it does. Ran OMG amazing. |

This works pretty good, I think I got it a PepBoys. Two screws hold it down.

In most of my kit cars space was at a premium so I used these mounted on the side walls, dash, etc......

They are adjustable once flipped down, very sturdy, and can hold just about any sized drink/cup. |

If you have a rollbar you can use the Jeep syle Velcro cup holders.
We use 4 of them.... they worked well for our 3500 mile trip to Cali and back.
Two others are down on the floor strapped to the rollbar.

You might consider bicycle bottle cages. They are usually very light and made from aluminum, plastic, carbon fiber, or stainless steel. They come in bright metal or various color finishes. The hole pattern is 64mm apart vertical sized for M5 screws. Adapters area available for handlebar and seat tube mounting and some of those amy be adaptable to roll bar tubes. _________________

I’ve been using a bottle cage with a strong suction cup mount made for stand up paddle boards. It works well, and holds my commuter cup and water bottle equally well. The secret is to get the mounting surface very clean before attaching.

I made mine from stainless and they rotate under the seats.
I think you can just barely see it in this pic.

Bertha seems like a lovely lady with a good sense of humor. I also have an ebrake so options on the tunnel are limited. I have tried some that I can mount on the side of the tunnel but legs keep hitting the cup. Just not a lot of lateral room in there. At this time I am leaning toward removing the grab bar from the passenger side dash and mounting one there through those existing holes (I also do not want to drill any more new holes in this thing than I absolutely have to). Since this buggy will be a mostly street use grocery getter, I think the cup holder is waaay more important than the grab bar. |
