Pull your hands outta your pants and put them on the keyboard occasionally (wash them first)- we still live here, Jackass.

Engineers... excuses right out of the gate. Rolling Eyes Makes me wonder how anything gets done.

Laughing its a long story. But I gotta get these things driveable again and under cover. Gotta figure that out next too.

Ahhh the TOOB days. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Seems Ive been a BOOT over the last 5 maybe 9 years Laughing

Im close to having the 74 TiN tOp Westfalia done. Had a 71 Rivi but sold it on, still have the 77 PoP tOp and plan on keeping it for a while.

Once the 74 is done, Ill enjoy it for a minute and jump into my 64 notch. Been jonesing for that since my SoCal brothers are still T3 junkies.

What have you been doing?

hi Cool been a while. but I've been busy!
I moved back to socal, currently in Yucca Valley near Palm Springs but eventually somewhere closer to San Diego. In the process, I ended up re-doing my bus/Subaru conversion so I could upgrade to OBD2 and use a lower mile donor engine, the old one had oiling problems. Had a flawless roadtrip down, 1500 miles running at 200 on the nose with no fans going. the squareback is long, 8 years long, overdue for its attention again. So I'll start a thread for the re-do on it.

In the end, I ended up redoing all the insulation and boards in the engine bay, repainting the firewall, remaking all the fan and radiator brackets and installing new better fans and radiators, 3D printed new intake parts, a fuel pump and filter mount, and some other little parts like intake block offs. My friend Don who roadtripped down with me is an old detailer and so he helped me bring the shine back from the OG paint. I also started redoing little things like the bumper and adding the overrider guards I bought in Mexico when I was 14(!) and never put on anything I deemed worthy of them; until now.

good to be back. looking forward to sharing my square's do-over from when I was in HS.

I tried calling you a few weeks back to get caught up but someone else picked up the number I had for you and said you'd given him the phone and between moving, getting the house ready for sale, etc I figured I'd let you know once I got here Laughing

nice! I'm about to install some new shocks and some other goodies on the bus. I put new tires, ball joints, and freshened up the brake pads and shoes but still need to go through the rest of everything.

I got some LED lights for the bus but I already know you guys won't like them

Mi amigo Pedro!

I brought my tree dented rack down for him to dissect post mortem. I have drunken hopes occasionally of getting it straightened out enough to use even if it's still got character
