This will be an epic build.... You're going to have to stand around and drink at that thing for a long time to determine where to start. _________________ '57 sunroof Standard

Holy Smokes! You're bad ass if you pull this off. This is on par with T-wrecks. I would have to find a good doctor to give me weekly injections of sticktoitiveness...and I'd probably die of natural causes before I finished. (Who am I kidding, I couldn't do it.)
By the way, KWZ: I'm going to have to quote you in the "worthy of mention" thread

LOL, no kidding.....working on a nice bus currently, that has required only a deck lid hinge carrier, battery tray, front inner valence and a bit of the cargo floor replaced....nearing the $80K point, at least now it's all sanded to 220.
Most of the doors and parts are completely ready for paint. _________________ Transporter Restorations

Today pulled the engine out
And braced up the broken frame in the front after lining up the front doors best as possible w 2 floor jacks and a portapower so we could get the wooden frame braces out from underneath
Now to get her onto the dolly

When I started building my latest bus you damn near said the same thing. I’m sure this bus is gonna get the love it deserves!
Brandon, is this the bus I talked to you about? I forgot you were the owner last time I commented on it. This thing is totally awesome, man!! I hope I score a pressed bumper bus someday. I wonder how many skylight delete early buses are actually out there? Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

I know linwine the original poster sold it. I asked him about this one a year ago as I was looking for a 11 window factory sunroof bus. I know it went to a high end restoration shop, maybe Stratton motorsports in FL? That is my guess, but I am not sure about the shop it wound up at. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |
