It's looking real nice!
I'm curious though, with bondo on the underside of the floor pan, will the pan flex and crack the bondo? _________________ 67 Desert Fox Spoiler |

Thank you sir. It should be OK. Floors no longer support seats or battery. Plus the braces make it impossible to flex. Oilcan effect was kept in check throughout welding. Plus the beads, shapes, and formed outer edges. Their 20ga too. My brother has 50+ years doing it and it's paper thin bondo.
All you have to do is enjoy it at shows anyway. In my hometown you get run off the road by idiots if your in an old car. At our age it only has to last a few years.
Here is the type of seam sealer used.

I hope that you resist the urge to paint the rest of the car black, driving a black car in NC between March & October absolutely sucks.
I had a buddy with a black GTI that came up with his great idea of making his own polished aluminum diamond plate door panels & floor panels. I laughed at him when he was done & told him that he just made his own solar oven. Two weeks later he had to go to the hospital for heat stroke after getting caught in traffic on a 95*+ day. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Just the chassis is going to be black. Light blue or orange are the highest contenders for the rest. |

Like a light creamy orange ,kind of with beige hints in it? I think that would look great with the black on this build. _________________ this space for rent. |
