Not without cutting the dash a bit. I did. But many here will say don't do it. _________________ Daily driven....Slowly. |

Or get a RetroSound radio (CIP1). They may not need any trimming BUT they are a bit pricey. _________________ '74 Zambezi green Ghia vert, autostick, 101k

Very pricey. I couldn't justify the cost. But if you have a show car, it may be worth it. _________________ Daily driven....Slowly. |

Thing about the retro-sound is its annoyingly bright at night. It should have a input fron the headlights and dim when the headlights are turned on. Other wise fits great and has an aux in for your MP3 in the glovebox. _________________ Sat for 14 yrs, in garage. Now its time to bring it back. Just wire up the dimmer to the light-button, so you can dim it with the speedo light. |

Have installed multiple Retrosounds in everything from a 61 to a 70s vert. They look good and sound decent. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

You can install the following if you do not want a cassette. It is small enough to fit in the VW aperture. Then add a DAB unit.

Perhaps there is a retrosound radio that has dimmer control. I seem to have one that does not. _________________ Sat for 14 yrs, in garage. Now its time to bring it back.
