I am looking for a set of lobster claw seat belts for my 67 convertible restoration. I believe that the Ghias seat belts from that year would also fit. Seems to be a very difficult item to find. Any help appreciated. |

Yes the short retractable housing 67 claw style Beetle Convertible and Ghia seat belts are more scarce than the Sedans..
I have sold a few pairs over the years rather quickly and they comand $$$$.
Your best chance..place a want ad in the classified.
No telling what's hidden way in some VW hoarders shed.
Also..FWIW.. Sedan housings "can be" cut down to simulate the short Convertible and Ghia ..

Look at the classifieds frequently and or post a wanted add. This just this morning maybe you inspired him to list a set.

So what you're saying is that size does matter! _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.
