Here’s one from when I could still see it over the fence-
From afar it looked pretty nice. _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

Last rescue of the year for me. Pretty rough but still worth digging out. NY is not kind to vehicles. Hard to find them around here before Tracy does...lol.

1961 (?) Walkthru Mango, a recent acquisition out of New Hampshire:
M-Code is missing. It's quite the rough bus, but it's totally buildable (especially for what it is)! The passenger/driver doors and the cargo doors along with a bunch of spare parts that were stored in the bus until it was rescued are at the PO's house, so another trip is in the works |

It has to be 1961 since it has low hinge cargo doors. |
I knew sometime around 1961 they switched from high to low but I wasn't 100% sure when. Thanks for the clarification! |

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

Picked up this Sept 58 kombi on the weekend. Pretty happy with the prairie sunburn on the og dove blue.

Wow, it is almost the twin to my 57. Very nice score you have there.
