So from all the searches and threads I have read it seem some people have to notch their plate and some don’t when lowering the rear of their thing. I was thinking about lowering 2 outer notches. Will I need to notch? If so how much? Does anyone have a pic? Even better does anyone have a template?

I'm down one outer spline and I needed to notch slightly as the plates were bouncing off the stops on hard bumps.

I lowered mine 2 outer notches. You will definitely need to cut a notch in your spring plate. When you push the plate back on,you'll see how much you'll need to remove. Be sure to drill a hole in the corner of where the two cuts change direction, to avoid any cracks. It's a stiff ride, but it's low.
I can text you a ton of pictures if you need them, just DM me a number to send them to.
