I was in Wisconsin looking at the fall colors in my '70 Bug. The colors are unusual this year. Not as vivid as last year. A mix. Some trees are still green, some are grayish/yellowish/brownish while others have already dropped their leaves.

My '70 Bug ran great on my 500 mile fall trip. It's really a pleasure riding those lonely 2-lane roads looking at the colors.

In Ohio the leaves have barely started to turn. I have a photo on my phone of my driveway covered in leaves that is from 2 years ago on Nov 20th. We did get a last little warm spell, but it is now in the 40's.

AMEN to that!

I hate expressways and 4 lanes highways with my Bugs. I'll take the lonely backroads every time! Leaves here in PA are odd this year. We've had a really wet summer and many leaves just dropped without changing color. A number of trees turned yellow just because of all the rain. I don't think it will be a colorful Fall this year.

This is fall color as of yesterday along “The Great River Road” This road covers 3000 miles through 10 states winding along the Mississippi River. This particular spot is located north of St. Louis on the way to Grafton Illinois. The Piasa Bird lived along these bluffs and ate human beings according to Native Americans that lived here hundreds of years ago. We didn’t see the bird but he has a Wikipedia page.

Piasa bird, just north of alton, il. Grafton is a madhouse this time of year. Don't miss the free ferry in kampsville.

That's not a Piasa bird shit. The Piasa bird was an alien craft. Back when the aliens were playing with native indian DNA. Iowegian, you don't know shit. Laughing
It's more like someone whacked off on the windscreen.
