Just wrestled off all the tin screws. Some were hard to get at and tight and it's worse because they have only a screw-driver slot.
Can I get the same screws with a hex head (and screw-driver slot)? When I put things backl together I like to know I will be able to get them apart next time... |

It is your choice. You can use hex head, phillips head, button allen head or stock cheese head screws. _________________

If you want it to look really cool, get button head stainless screws. Dont forget to get washers.. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

The front side of the engine had all hex screws. Only the rear end had tin screws. _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

My choice is these...
https://www.belmetric.com/flange-bolts-grade-109-c-2.html
But when you get to that site you will find lots of choices..

They are nothing exotic, they are also used to hold belt (safety) covers in place on John Deere riding mower decks...
Also this style has been found at local ACE hardware too...
