I noticed the rear section under the crescent vents has what you all call "death foam" no rust anywhere. I was going to weld/fill the trim holes. my concern is how flammable is this stuff? have any of you welded on a rear quarter with this stuff?

Stick a piece of wire up there ,tear part of it out and put a match to it. Very Happy

Bend up a coat hanger wire with a 1/2" right hand bend on the end. Run it up into the death foam on your drill & root out all the foam in there.

Well, today I used the advice above and repaired some rust and filled some trim holes. I found one of the holes had a bit of rust, so I oversized the hole, stuck a ground down bolt in it and cut it flush before welding. while my rig will weld mig, I've been welding fcaw for years and did it that way.

Thanks for the advice!
