does anyone know what other year would fit without drilling or atleast where i can find one.. the bug i have just bought does not have any parts what so ever thank you in advance

ps.. per this link, the wiper motor did change in 65, not that it wont fit, that I dont know, but the windshield and cowl did change in 65, I think the wipers parked on the other side too. so I think a 61 thru 64 should fit, maybe earlier too. But 65 is certainly different than a 64.

Keep in mind if you find a used assembly, all the parts you need to refurb are available. Wolfsburg West has the bushings and wiper shafts. And if you went 12V, there are replacement armatures available almost everwhere.
And yeah - 65 is where the wiper assys changed. You may need to fab a mounting strap depending on where your tab is on the cowl. No big deal. I have a tub of assemblies and parts and pieces that I use when putting one together.
