Here's one from last weekend (10/21/17) @ North Lake in the Adirondacks. Beautiful 'primitive camping' site w/ approx 20 campsites on the north shore of the lake.
Our bus is a '71. We arrived at night (in the dark), & bravely pointed it down towards the lake in 1st gear (you can see the slope to the upper left of the fire pit in front of bus), & then backed into this spot for the weekend. Getting out was much easier, & it climbed like a champ

Hello,
Well, the co-pilot had his mind on slumbering on his blanket, after putting the pop top on. But I thought it would be a great day for a drive out in the fall colors.
Nice time of year up here right now in Mammoth Lakes Ca.

A friend took pics of my wife and her work team last week. They used the "new" '78 and our splitty. This is the only one I have of the '78 so far.

Fall run in Black Hills, SD with dogs on on wife birthday. Cold enough to freeze and snow at night yet still warm enough to melt it and thaw by day. Love this time of year, crisp air and less bugs.
