Stock 2000cc type 4 engine, 1.8 heads, dual webers...in a bus
I rebuilt the webers and put them back on, I got the engine started and tried.balancing the carbs...
I use a flow meter. When I got the flow/idle set then adjusted the mixture if I wrap.the throttle real quick then engine responds as it should but when the idle should come back to normal it drops down low and struggles to stay idling...or it comes back to idle but has a low deep popping noise, like fuel igniting in the exhaust.
Anyone have any troubleshooting steps or theories on what it might be[/b] |
