I drove (not in the buggy) from Las Vegas to Phoenix and back (620 Miles) to buy these seats. The inserts show some wear but the leather is in awesome condition. I love how 914 seats look in a buggy.

Helped a buddy put his new (to him) side pods.
We just wanted to make sure they were going to work but after we got them on his buggy, dang, they grew on us!!
I guess he can always paint them down the road but I think they look pretty cool like that. It gel coat metal flake is in pretty good shape too.

Short answer: I fix'd an intermitent low RPM power drop-out.

Long story: While driving slow on neighborhood streets (in 2nd gear going ~10mph), an occasional sudden power drop would sometimes happen. Stepping on the accelerator would temporarily fix it, SOME times. Another clue was a rare pop when stepping on it to shake off the drop out. The pop seem'd to be coming from the right carb (dual Brosols). Also, when ideling after/during one of these incidents, RPM would be so low I'd need to push the pedal in a bit, but then the engine would lope badly. Lately, it began to happen more frequently.

Well, I took out the right carb's idle cut-off jet. Found some tiny particles, mostly in the area where the spring is.

Clean'd it all up, put it back together, and the problem's gone!

My buggy sat for two weeks while I was out of town, then another week because it seems like it rained the entire week after I got home. Decided to take the buggy out to get gas for my mowers and a brake was hanging up. So yesterday I had to replace a stuck wheel cylinder, then bleed and adjust everything.

@motoRAT - A free Windows app call'd Jpegcrop will do rotation (and a few other things). Look for jpegcrop.zip toward bottom of this page:

I wiped a whole bunch of ugly off my SR2 Manx.

After over 40 years of Texas sun and possibly a flood or two, the gelcoat appeared to be damaged beyond repair. While cleaning out my storage room I came across a bottle of “Gelcoat Oxidation Remover” left over from an old hobby (sailing) and decided to give it a try on my SR and I’m very happy with the results;

Built a dash visor to house my buggy's smartphone music player:

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

It turns on whenever power is applied to it's USB charging port, thanks to a mind bogglingly useful app call'd Tasker. Got it to launch the music player when power'd up, after an awful lot of trial and error. (The function that finally work'd is call'd "AC" in Tasker; did the trick even tho there's nothing AC about this set-up!) Next, gotta figure out how to stop the music and put device to sleep when power is cut off.

We've had 2 major snowfalls and a couple of mornings of -25*C with chills in the -30*s C. Have had my studded winter tires on my truck for a month. But this week saw above freezing temps and today it was 11*C (57F) so I took the Jerry can of gas for the snowblower, dumped it in the buggy, took the car off the wheel dollies, moved the snowblower out of the way, and put 60 miles on my buggy. Kinda fun driving it with snowbanks on the sides of streets. Took lots of people by surprise, especially when they finally notice the car doesn't have a windshield. 😁 Latest I had driven it before was Oct 31.

Today I installed a new muffler to my buggy.
Genuine A-1 Performance race bullet muffler.
It has the best sound I have heard on a buggy.
Loud sweat mellow aggressive I could say.
I cut my Meyer Manx headers and TIG welded this new muffler, the best investment I have done. 💪🏻😎✌🏻

Not yesterday but last week.
I finally installed the hood, fuel filler and cap, wiper assembly and the windshield.
I have a right and left pair of '67 mirrors to install but still working on HOW?

Find some long stemmed Harley Davidson mirror mounts and use the top bolt hole on your windshield mount.
These are the older two piece mirrors that have a separate stem and mirror.
They are not quite as easy to find but I found mine at swap meets.

If you mount a mirror on the fender it will be too low to see past the rear fender.
Mounting it higher up gives you a good view out the sides. Combine that with a good rear view mirror and you have vision behind comparable to a standard vehicle.

You can also use the windshield clamps available and mount a mirror there.
