I was cleaning out my pile of stuff and found a bunch of wide 5 smoothie rims. I noticed one rim was a little different than the rest. It has the Vw stamp and size stamped. It doesn’t have hub cap clips or holes for clips. It does have indents that can hold a later style hub cap. Any info on this rim would be cool.

No hubcap clips and smoothie style = 64-65 Type 3 wheel

There should be a date stamp on it somewhere too
