I go crazy for 'perfect numbers'. This is the very fist Type 2 Bay Window of model year 1972. I took this picture personally. Do you know who owns this bus?!
Do someone here has taken/own 'special' unique 'fetish' VIN?!?
Please share it here!!!
Thank you

Okei guys : I think it's the only 'bay window' CONVERTIBLE made by VW and kept in VW museum. And talkin' about VW golf Mk1 convertible ....
Due to the overlapping year (during 1979 VW moved its Cabriolet from SuperBug to Golf mk1) , this is the only case where two different models has shared the same VIN prefix. Serial number is divided in two parts, with Golf that has a '8' prefix. Hence 159 2 8-00008 is the 8th Golf convertible ever built! Picture taken in VW Museum in Wolfsburg.
Come 'on guys... none with fetish VIN out there?

Type 2- model 2 (std. microbus)- 2nd year of the decade model year- serial number starts at 2 million to denote 1970's decade production. It could happen.
That's a really cool number, and an interesting photo, stare at it for a minute and the stamped numbers start to look like outies, then you can't un-see it, like one of those 3D picture books. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
