For clarificiation this is what I’m talking about when I mention using a screwdriver. This was only staged when I sent a picture to a friend of mine having trouble getting his off. I use the biggest screwdriver I can find, in my case it’s about 18” long, and use it put far into the fan similar to doing so on the pulley side. Use a breaker bar on the nut side. This allows you to keep the fan in place using the ground as leverage and you can hold the gen/alternator with your free hand.

Got it off. Had to weld nut on the alternator and impact the fan bolt off.
