I don't collect much, but I'm interested in them. It started with my brother's '67 with the VW1500 script, our first clue it wasn't the usual US model:

Here is a rare one:

The fuel injection option was rare in Europe; in the US where it was standard, they used the common "VOLKSWAGEN" script instead.

I have always had a liking for the VW-VOLKSWAGEN emblem out of Canada from the 1970s. Popcorn

There's the fancy Automatic Stickshift badge.

Also, a must-have item would be this Sun Bug badge.

I need to find someone or some company to make me a volksaru ( Volkswagen Subaru) badge. I'd love it to be the standard vw badge with the Subaru stars incorporated. Y'all got any clues to whom I need to talk to?

Your best bet is probably to have someone build a CAD model and have it 3D printed, then maybe chromed or painted.

The 1200 emblem at the top left of your photo is a fairly rare one. They came on '67 Canadian Standards (I'm not sure about other years), as well as some European models. I'm sure someone here will know which ones.
They usually go for $100-$200 compared to the plentiful 1300 emblems that go for $5 at the swaps.

Yes the 1200 is the rarest, I've sold a few NOS for €100 each but the last one is sold now..
