This photo evidently appeared in the Minneapolis Star Tribune in an article about transportation advisory.

Pendleton. The sign on I-84 says "Gas/Food this exit" and you take the exit which turns out to be a four-mile detour through the middle of town on a Friday afternoon when there's some kind of Harley convention going on and it's hot as hell and the motorcycles are loud and in-the-way and Boise seems like it's still a thousand miles down I-84...

It's probably not fair to Pendleton to have that association in my head, but that's what I've got.

At any rate, I recognize that very well-sorted Get Away Vanagon from the classifieds:

In the "Digital Attraction" segment of the CBS This Morning show just now there was a brief view of a dark-colored late Vanagon in the portion about curbside pickup. Look for the red Rambler American (seen twice briefly) and the Vanagon appears for a split second thereafter in the sequence of vehicles.

I noticed a vanagon in the old footage shown in the first episode of Netflix's Narcos Mexico.

Here's the Vanagon. Almost has to belong to one of us. Any Mainers able to identify it? If you need to see the Rambler you can go watch it for yourself. If watching for the Westy it appears so quickly and is gone that you can literally blink and miss it.

About that "literally," the Rambler and the Vanagon share the 1:44 before a Tesla appears at 1:45, and the Rambler has most of that second so your 1/5 second blink, timed correctly, could cause you to miss the Vanagon.
