I'm building a vintage speed 40 hp for my '64 and trying to keep it looking period correct for the mid-'60s. I picked up a Santana pulley and was wondering if it would be period correct for this build. I tried searching and the earliest references to the Santana pulley I can find are '70 or '71.

the How to hot rod VW engines book mentions the pulley in the first edition if I'm not mistaken, so at least 1970?
