I was talking with a gent the other night and the topic got around to paint protection.
He has been using a product called Hydrosilex on his new Subaru. He says it's a ceramic coating that's spray on/wipe off, and lasts for about 6 months under normal conditions. Rain and other liquid debris just runs right off.

The paint on my '63 is pretty shineless. I figure if this stuff will give me some shine and last half a year I'd be good with it. I figure I'd just go with the Recharge. I can wash and prep a surface to 'completely clean' with standard products.
We've all seen about a billion miracle spray on/wipe off products that have been touted as the best thing since sliced bread. Before jumping in on this one, has anyone had any experience with it? _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it?
