What color to paint my 56 Oval

I'm debating what color to paint my 56 Oval. My daughter has been coercing me to paint it an Army-ish color green...I was thinking a sort of mustard yellowy brown ?

why not a bit of both with L316 Almond Green which was only used on convertibles. The green is sort of OD but the metallic flake makes it look a little yellow in the sun.

while it is your car and you can do as you please, if its a pretty much stock bug how about sticking with 1956/7 VW green colors, you wont get beat up on price too much should you elect to sell your car.

reed green (early 56)

jungle green (early 56)

agave green (late 56)

diamond (late 56)

I'd say look at as many photos of any colors prior to choosing and in person if possible because some of these photos I don't think are the most representative of the colors. They really vary with lighting

Personally, I believe a vehicle should retain it's original colour.
If you can't bring yourself to do that, choose a colour that is correct for the year.
Oval era greens are all good choices as far as I'm concerned.

The Ultra is only a 55 year color. Go with the Agave..

L51 bordeaux red is a beautiful color that looks nice on an old Bug.
This split in that color was posted here my RareAir.

I think that Jungle Green posted by Darren looks very nice too. I find dark colors generally look great on old Bugs.
