Odd question. Would anyone know where to look for old VW dealer parts catalogues, or maybe have some from the mid to late 70's? Nowadays a lot is digital. Back then, if they needed to order parts, they had to flip through books. _________________ 74 Bahia red Ghia coupe. Built Jan 24th 1974, left on Jan 31st 1974. Initial destination Columbus/USA. |

I’ve got a small collection of parts catalogs from Bap-Geon, WorldParts,Carquest, NAPA, Beck Arnley and a few others. All from the late 60’s/early 70’s Good for reference and if there’s a price sheet that’s always good for a laugh. _________________ 1970 Lotus White Panel

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking for Ghia catalogs from the 73-74 era. Are the ones in the links actually sent out to dealerships? I'm looking for a part number, specifically the thin red vent tube coming off the top of my oil bath air cleaner on my 74. _________________ 74 Bahia red Ghia coupe. Sorry, I overlooked the word "dealer" in your question. The ones I linked are independent aftermarket suppliers that sold to the public. |

I've got a few, like Rocky Mountain and 1986 Johnny's Speed and Chrome.
I sure hope I still have the Autohaus or Bughaus late 1970s catalog; the back cover had a photo of a real hottie wearing one of their halter tops !!! _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each.
