I’d say yes looks to be original, the centerstand indicates it’s a later 36hp kit
there is s fellow in Belgium reproducing the autotchnik express kit , but this one certainly looks like it’s been around for a while, what’s the story on it?
Youll have better luck finding information in the vintage speeds section of the forums |

Yeah the reproduced kit looks like the earlier version with another linkage and center mount. I only knew this linkage from the 40hp version.
Well Peter, now you can see how nice an Autotechnik engine looks with the early Knecht mushroom air cleaners |

I'm not that familiar with the real early vintage performance stuff. Are those heat risers for the manifolds or just braces?

Both. Extra bracing for manifolds, also preheat for better starting and help prevent icing. They also have a support hole for the linkage to go through.
Hope this helps

Alejandro Martin’s email address: [email protected]
he has a bit of a reputation of being difficult to get a hold of , I’ve found you just need persistence and patience

He's still active in the scene? Cause searching his name only brings up topics over/around 10 years old. |
