We all have some well seated ideas and opinions. Some for good reason, some just old wives' tales. I have had a few debunked here on this site myself and a few solidified.
Feed back based on experience is very valuable. Not many of us have the time or money to make all the mistakes possible. It is kind of nice if it can be done civilly though...
