Bowden Tube

The Bowden tube differences are a challenge. Please tell me the total length of a Bowden tube when not installed for a 1957 stock beetle. I have two new ones and one if stiff and the other much more flexible. Which one would you use?

I like the Audi/vw one. It is Teflon all the way through, no metal inside. Super nice pedal.

I would try the more flexible one first.

I bought a new one from JBugs that was pretty stiff, and it snapped during installation. So then I put back the used the one that was in there, and it went in more easily than the new one, which should have been simpler to install than an older one, simply because newer rubber.
