OK, leave the house and go to a movie theater and get a pic of your VW with a BumbleBee movie poster in the background.
I took my daughter to see it again and they still have the posters outside.

The Bumblebee action figure was my Christmas gift from my kids...But, with the current Oval prices, no way in hell am I driving it over salted-roads & besides, it''s January so, Summer is right around the corner. ...Right?

Sorry, no. I think we all have an old pic of one of our VWs getting towed  . The OP set the rule of no old pics.

Since the subject has come up, maybe a refresher of the rules and spirit and intent is in order.

Awesome!!! Cool shot with the BumbleBee. I forget that most places are backwards from Florida. We drive our Bugs in the winter and not so much in the summer.

It actually was taken 2 minutes before posting it but, also just had 4"+ of snow... so I wasn't about to throw the battery in & wake it up from hibernation yet
Ok, I'll change it and make it a bit more fun WITH an incentive!,
Current Challenge: YVW in front of a Police Or Fire Station.
...AND...
For the incentive, If if you are a first responder & in full uniform with you or your crew in the picture (Police, Fire, EMT etc... whatever) OR, for the rest of us, if you deliver 1 dozen doughnuts to any first rerponders sect.. I will send that person one of these free of charge (provided you're in the U.S.) if you would like one for your VW.

If I wasn't so lazy I could get out the tow bar and take a fresh one! In fact I could hook the tow bar on the sand rail, put it on the hitch at the rear of the Manx copy, put the second tow bar on the front of the Manx copy and hook it up to the Subaru Forester and take them all for a ride around the ranch for a photo op.
But... it's -14 with 4" of snow and... that wood stove and a cup of hot chocolate are calling my name! |

Reading on that picture on this site and found this:
The VW Beetle belonged to one of the people living in the block of flats across from the recording studio. They tried to have it moved but the owner was on holiday so they just left it there. After the album was released, the number plate (LMW 281F) was stolen repeatedly from the car. In 1986, the car was sold at auction for £2,530 and in 2001 was on display in a museum in Germany

Pictured last week on the way from Switzerland to Volksworld Show. The buggy was displayed 2 hours later in Sandown Park...
Next challenge: VW drifting at full speed 
PS: LMW28IF = Living Mccartney Wouldbe 28 IF.... much more about that on wikipedia...
