I think you may need to make that FB event public. I couldn't get it to load. _________________ Casey--

Yep, it works now. Not sure if I'll be done with my projects by then, but I'll see what I can do to join you. _________________ Casey--

I got a call from a friend yesterday who was headed downtown to the VANBIER block party at Wander brewing in Bellingham, WA. Apparently it could have been advertised better.
I was just wrapping up our pull out drawer project (you can see it peaking out of the back of our white T4 in the picture below), then we rolled down to check it out. There were about 40 vans of all types including several T4 and older VW's. All in all a good time. I met a couple with Connecticut plates who had just got their 2002 Weekender from their dad in New York and drove it back here.
All in all it was a good time.

I don't think so, that was my first thought too. I asked but it seems this was just an event that Wander brewing hosted. |

Sorry my van wasn't ready and I couldn't join you. There were some sweet looking vans there. _________________ Casey--

Howdy, Mark.
I’m Josh, half of the young couple that you met at this Wander Brewing event back in August, who had just gotten back to town from driving our ‘02 Weekender back from NY/CT. It was awesome seeing your van. “Thanks” to you, my better half is now is requesting I build her a rear drawer just like yours
I mentioned this when we met, but when VW announced they were discontinuing the Westy Eurovan, my dad drove to the dealership the week of his 50th b day and bought one off the lot. I was in college at the time, so this hand-me-down is very much new to me; I did not grow up with it. It’s been a blast so far. I’m already inspired, with a few projects in mind.
Looking forward to crossing paths with you (and others) at a WA meetup sometime soon! Cheers!
