Hi All,

I'm thinking about making tools for pressing the divider panels for single and double cab bay window bus.

Do you think this is a good idea? Any interest?

I mean this kind of panel -

I think you might do better if you repro the side & rear gates for single & double cabs.

From what I have seen, these panels are often rotted out or missing in SCs. There may very well be a market. Didn't know DCs had them, it has been a while since I owned one, so I don't remember what was under the seat Wink

Gerson(klassicfab) does them last time I checked... hopefully he still does because I have to get around to ordering a set Laughing

If I had found GOOD reproductions I would have bought them for mine. I did search high and low and sourced two very nice ones that needed minimal work.

There is a market for these albeit small. I haven't seen many trucks getting the full on resto like buses do, many truck owners use them as such. Kudos to you if you do.

I'm ready to order two today.
Name your price. Even if I was to create a template, somehow roll or form the sheet metal so it didn't flex or wasn't extremely heavy, then had to finish it, drill it, sand, primer and paint it, I can almost be certain any sort of production can do it cheaper than I can. Email, PM or text any time they are ready.

Agreed. There is a market since nothing else will work. You might even find customers in Europe or Australia.

Some used ones are available now:

Two are needed on both single and double cabs.
