You are doing well on this bus, I'm stalled at the rear end putting in the engine shelves and I'm cutting mine to retain what OG metal is there. How hard was it to remove the existing engine shelf and battery tray?

just drill the spot welds from these areas and then there are a few underneath the "triangle" that supports the d pillar and it should come right out, KF piece popped in there perfectly

I was seeing a bunch of this with my work too. I took your advice in my thread about going back over and hitting those pinholes and it definitely helped. The only thing that was killing me is I would fill in a bunch of pinholes and them bam it would blast a hole in the metal. Then I would be back to tried to build up a big weld to fill it, grind, see pinholes again, repeat. I did that several times. Overall though I was able to fill things in but this process can be challenging. Thanks for keeping this thread going, its been a huge help because you have been fixing almost the exact same stuff I have been doing. |

front floor complete, pretty happy with how it turned out.... not sure if he is going to paint it yet or not
still have to pull the passenger door off to finish closing up the rust hole right below the hinge so i didn't finish the seal channel on that side yet
