Hey guys. I have been thinking of a way to make the rear seat area (which wont be sat in anyway) into a storage area. It doesn’t need to be enclosed storage but storage in general. There is the manx trunk kit but I have a berrien and I’m not sure it will fit. It is also expensive. Any ideas?

The Manx cover will fit a Berrien as the Berrien is a direct rip off of a Manx. Berrien make their own toneau kit now though.

Is that a plywood board that runs to the floor or the edge of the seat?

Maybe a combination of the two would work. I box made of plywood with a hinged lid that is also made of vinyl covered plywood. Would make it out of fiberglass but I have no experience with it what so ever

The plywood goes to the floor. I epoxyed a narrow board to the body so I could attach the wood to..carpeted the inside

Hangs from the rear cage downtubes, suspended above the package tray, secured thru the fiberglass to a rear crossmember underneath. Made from 1/2" square tube and expanded metal...you can stand on it.

This looks like the ticket for trail use and camping. Functional!

I like it^^^. This appears to take the weight off the body.
