'67 splity wiper switch

Have a 1967 Kombi, purchased Sept 1966. It has the rubber dash knobs.

Wiper switch has failed and parts houses don't list a '67 wiper switch, but do have '66 and '68.

In another thread, a reader suggested that a '66 switch works in a '67 bus.
Is this true????

Can you link to the parts house part you are referring to? '66 should be the same as '67 but switch to your rubber knob.
