Well from the evidence in that photo I'd say two wealthy couples, and six other couples good at economizing and saving as evidenced by the fact that they drive Volkswagens. |

It isn't that luxurious but quite the norm. That sort of chalet is found all over the traps in the German, Austrian and Italian Alps. I've stayed at quite a few either on skiing or hang gliding trips. These are a fabulous way to know the country side. Highly recommend them and its easier to find them these days with Air BnB.
