Minus the snow, is this what Thom's place looks like on a day he's out driving his Unimog? Haha. _________________ ,,Wenige Menschen denken, und doch wollen alle entscheiden.'' -der Alte Fritz

y'all are missing the fact that the isetta is the only one of the 3 cars in the picture that actually drove there after it snowed... _________________ regards

The registration on the Bus is from Aschersleben in East-Germany.
Picture was most likely taken before the Berlin Wall was built. |
No, it's Kommandantura Berlin, the old West Berlin registration. Picture must have been taken in 1956, when the registration changed into B as seen on the Isetta. |

What an excellent timestamp for you as the poster. Now there's you in life as time goes on but the trusty VW truck continues on static in shape and evolution and just as useful if not more so. |

back in the day, parking in france was a full contact sport (watch the bumpers). you parked your car without the e-brake, just in first, so that the guy in front or behind you could move your car enough to get in an out of the parking spaces. Saw it happen in paris in the 80s. your car might end up moved a spot or 2 over night. _________________ regards
