Seatback cable

While doing some other work with the seats, I noticed that my passenger seat back cable is frayed and snapped. Looked at jbugs, ispwest, west coast metrics, and pierside parts, I have found that most everyone sells two different cables for bugs depending on year, but as of yet no one sells these for any other vw. Obviously need this for a type 3, high back seats if that matters.

Are the cables the same as for the bugs?
Or is this an elusive unicorn of a part.

Your '73 3 point seats are just the same as Bug seats so I'd order a Bug cable & hope it fits.
