So, like others have posted, the Wolfgang pop-out kits are a pretty good option for a DC or other Bay with trashed wing vents. But like others have experienced, the latches that come with the kit are NOT optimal..the geometry is wrong, and they don't sit flat on the bus interior. In the printed instructions, Wolfgang admits they are poor, and recommends any of the three early-style latches as being better choices.
My question for the DC owners that have done this mod: What latches did you use, and what seemed to be best? |

I put some split latches on a clients bus.
preston? you're within spitting distance of stickville. you must keep that DC hidden pretty good

Yeah, I was curious why the Wolfgang instructions said there were three styles of early latches, and which of the three worked best for a DC. |

I gave up on Connecticut three years ago. I'm hiding that Double Cab in Florida now...permanently. |
