First few mins of episode 5 of Little Drummer Girl. The mini-series is supposed to take place in 1979.

I saw a white vanagon in line in some similar footage at the border. It looked tall and I only caught a glimpse.

The Nordstrom commercial- Just saw it also. Here's the link to the commercial. VW comes in as the 2nd car; is only on for about 1 second, but you can see it in the background of the first (Rambler) and other later cars.

Kindle Paperwhite product page has a pic of a vanagon
https://www.amazon.com/All-new-Kindle-Paperwhite-Waterproof-Storage/dp/B07CXG6C9W

If you click the last photo (which is really a video) you will see a lot of driving/action with a vanagon.

I was watching an episode of Hamilton's Pharmacopeia last night in which Hamilton was investigating counterfeit Quaalude production in South Africa.

There was a beautiful white T3 parked in a low-income neighborhood in Pretoria.

I didn't pause it and get a pic, but I did yell "VANAGON!" when I saw it.

I've got my wife and daughters doing it, too. Bunch of nerds. Smile

I wasn't sure where to post this link, but I guess it falls into the category of "Internet." In my never-ending search for cool pictures of Vanagons, I stumbled upon this collection of photos on Autobild.de:

https://www.autobild.de/klassik/bilder/vw-t3-camper-im-vergleich-10561083.html#bild1

It's a slideshow of 117 very high-quality photos of Westfalias, Gypsies, Reimos, Doka campers...In short, it's heavenly.

Just spotted this vanagon in the “road rage in America #47” YouTube video. Doesn’t seem like this guy is representing the stereotypically, mellow vanagon crowd too well. Then again, who knows what really happened before the recording started.

The action start around minute 5:48

Looks like some nice, custom Sewfine panels.

Seattle is taking down the waterfront viaduct after 60+ years. KOMO TV did a story on it a day or two before closing it for good. Drone footage almost perfectly timed to get the red Vanagon in the shot. Anybody own this?

Mick Aston's (RIP) old Syncro, went on to be painted green then sold to Dr Alice Roberts, she ran it for a while until it all got a bit pervy on Club 80-90 resulting in her boyfriend coming along and telling them the error or their ways, I think she sold it after that.

I commuted daily from West Seattle to Ballard for many years and loved the Viaduct.
Best views in the morning and sunsets at night. I for one will miss it.
Now only millionaire condo owners will be able to enjoy that view. Evil or Very Mad
