Tow Bar w/frame extension?

Thoughts on using a tow bar on a volksrod with an 8" frame extension?

Yes it is!! I would think the "U" type tow bars would work fine, not sure about the "C" type ( may interfere with beam modifications ). The real limiting factor would be radical lowering jobs/narrowed beam stuff.

Thanks guys. I guess my main concern is the change of integrity moving the beam out further from the main chassis.

Yes, I would be "taking it easy" on short hauls and maybe dead man the steering wheel so that no flopping occurs. A car that nice deserves a trailer.
